Thanks to everyone who came out to Newcastle for some smallmouth action. We knew it would be a tough turnout on a Sunday. This lake is a pretty nice place to fish, but it wasn't the usual action we've all come to love. It was pretty tough to find the bigger fish, but as usual a few guys did find them. The Team of Ted Cater and Donny Ormsby got 1st Place with a nice 12 lb 2 oz sack of smallies. Rob Huston and Bobby Didier got 2nd Place with 10 lb 1 oz. Kevin Carter and Brandon Sullivan got 3rd Place with 7 lbs 5 oz. Big Fish Award went to David Sullivan and Lonnie Sullivan with a 3 lb beauty.
