Gunlock 5-5-07 Recap
Gunlock was nothing short of amazing! Along with another great turnout, with 16 boats, the fishing was great. If SUBA kept records, they all may have been broken during this big fish bonanza. There was 11 fish caught that were 20 inches or better and quite a few 19 inchers written down on the papers. It started off cold and calm and then turned to wind with partly cloudy skies and the wind just blew harder the rest of the day. The biggest fish of the day weighed 6 lbs 15 ozs!!! It was caught by the team of Vaughn Hansen and Bob Langnese. They also finished in 3rd place with 17 lbs 12 ozs. 2nd place overall went to Jerry (I predicted a win) White and Damon Holmes with 19 lbs 3 ozs. 1st place and 2nd big fish went to Chris Hornbrook and David Sullivan with a giant bag of 21 lbs and 14 ozs!!! Their big fish was a hefty 6 lbs 12 ozs. Nice Job to all of you guys!!! Here's the results and pictures from the day.......
