Quail Creek Recap
We had another great turnout at Quail Creek Reservoir this month. 18 BOATS!!! Thanks to everyone who came out to fish, it was a great day with lots of fish caught. The bass seemed to be in everywhere, from shallow to deep and some were on beds too. The finish was a tight one with the top 5 places within ounces of one another. We thought we'd have to weight a lot of 20 inch fish but only one 20 inch fish was weighed today.
The team of Bruce Hardy and Damon Holmes took the 1st place trophies with a total weight of 15 lbs 6 ozs. They also had the 2nd biggest fish that weighed in at 5 lb even and 19 inches long. Kevin Carter and his guest took 2nd place with a total weight of 15 lbs and 1 oz. 3rd place went to David Sullivan and his guest with a total weight of 14 lbs 14 ozs. 4th place went to Chris Hornbrook and his guest from Washington state with a total weight of 14 lbs 7ozs. Then the team of Robert Zumwalt and Bobby Didier took 5th place with a total weight of 14 lbs 2 ozs and the Big Fish Trophy with a 5 lb 7 oz fish that was 20 3/4 inches long.
