Sand Hollow Recap
Sand Hollow was not the Sand Hollow we've all come to love this last weekend. Usually winter bass fishing is great here, but with the cold winter we've had this year, it has not giving the water a chance to warm up yet. The water is hovering around 41-45 degrees and the bass just don't want to bite.
We had a great turnout again to start the season despite the tough fishing with 18 boats. Gilbert Jennings and Beau Schmid took first place with 5 lbs and 9 oz. Robert Zumwalt and Bob Langnese took 2nd place with 5 lbs even. Chris Hornbrook and Ted Carter took 3rd place with 4 lbs 15 oz and the Big Fish trophy with a 3 lb 12 oz bass caught by Chris Hornbrook. 2nd Big Fish went to Scott Copple with a 3 lb 4 oz bass.
Welcome to all the new members and lets have a great turnout at Lake Mead.
