Newcastle 6-28-08
Thanks to the 9 teams that made it out to Newcastle for this tournament. Sounded like it was a nice day on the water. I'll try to get a better report from someone who was there. Looks like some nice fish were caught. Had some fish die unfortunately for a few teams which shuffled up the placements a bit. Rob Huston and Rich Gibson had a great day on the water with a nice 13 lb 11 oz sack which was good enough to run away with the 1st place prize. They also took home the Big Fish Trophy with a nice 3 lb 9 oz smallie. Nice job guys! 2nd place went to Kevin Carter and Donny Ormsby with 10 lbs 6 ozs. 3rd place went to Jerry White and RJ Willoughby with 10 lbs and 1 oz after a 8 oz penalty for a dead fish. Anyway, if anyone took any pictures during the day and wants to send them to me, I'll gladly post them. See you guys at Quail for our night tournament.
