Quail Creek 10-11-08
Today was serious fall fishing with clouds, wind, rain, and cold front temperatures. This time of year is always good for large bass. Today was no different with 3 fish over 20 inches were caught and a couple very close to 20 inches. 1st place and the Big Fish Award went to Jerry White and Richard Gibson. They brought in two fish over 20 inches and weighing 5 lbs 1 oz each and a total weight of 21 lbs 13 oz. This might be the biggest sack of the year. Nice job! 2nd place went to Mike Jennings and his guest with a total weight of 17 lbs 13 ozs. 3rd place and 2nd Big Fish went to the team of Duane "Longhair" Pearson and Bobby Didier with a total weight of 17 lbs with a 4 lb 13 oz kicker fish. Thanks to everyone who came out a braved the weather.
