Sand Hollow 9-27-08
Sand Hollow is always a great place to fish and today proved no different. You name the bait or lure and you probably caught fish with it. The fish seemed to be pretty stretched out. Here and there type of catching. The key was the 2 fish over 12inches that all teams knew would be the difference in who wins and who doesn't. Who got the big fish? Well today it was Rob Huston and Bobby Didier with a total of 10 lbs 14 ozs, and 1st Place finish. They also took home 2nd Big Fish Award with a 5 lb 7oz Sand Hollow monster. 2nd place went to Tyler Vanderhorst and Beau Schmid with a total of 9 lbs and 10 oz. They had a nice fish weighing 4lbs 12 ozs. 3rd place and Big Fish Award went to Moe Gray and Richard Gibson. They totaled 9 lbs 7 ozs with a Big Fish Award giant weighing 5 lbs 8 ozs. Also, thanks to everyone who came out to the BBQ afterward. It was a great way to wind down from fishing hard all day.
