Sand Hollow 2-23-08

Sand Hollow was typical for winter fishing in southern Utah...very stubborn. The fish just didn't want to bite very much. They did bite enough for some teams to bring in a couple nice size fish to the scales. There was actually one team who caught a limit. It really was a decent day for winter. Anytime you can get close to 10 lbs in winter, you're doing pretty good. We also didn't have any teams blank, which in nice. The water temps were around 44 all day. The sky was overcast with sun in the afternoon. Just a nice day to be fishing for bass again. Anyway, Kyle Richins and Mike Muggleston got the 1st place victory with a couple dink kicker fish. Nice Job guys. Frank "Side-swipy" Siedlecki and Rich Gibson took home the Big Fish Award with a nice 4 lb 14 oz fish, and finished in 2nd Place. Curt McDaniel and Bob Wright took 3rd Place, and Moe Gray got the 2nd Big Fish Award with a 4 lb 10oz largie. Thanks to everyone who came to the tournament. I hope to see everyone at Lake Mead next month.
